FIT is an alternative qualification for students who do not pass A/L qualifications to enroll into the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program. It is designed for anyone irrespective of the study streams they have followed in Advanced Level.
However, those who register for BIT should have completed studies up to Ordinary Level and receive 2 credits for mathematics and English.

Students who pass all three e-Tests at the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) e-testing lab will be qualified to register for the BIT degree program.
